JadeDragon's reviews and playing tips: Palm OS games

Bee, by Naoki Ito www.freewarepalm.com/games/bee.shtml Free
Reviewed April 2002

Bee, developed by Naoki Ito, is a very popular freeware arcade game. There are many maze-like levels where you control a flying bee, which needs to touch all the honeycombs in order to clear the level. There are flying enemies the bee needs to avoid, and there are bonus goodies to be collected as well. Bee is a creative game with good graphics and fun game play. The game developer has done many good free games for Palm. This game is definitely worth downloading.

Playing Hints and Tips
Keep the Rise button pressed down while you move left and right. When you need to go down, just let off Rise button a little bit. The bees fall very fast, but rise slowly. So it's much easier to control it on the rise. When you have a good feel of how to control the bees, you can time when you touch the honeycombs so that you can take out some enemies at the same time.

The honeycombs will shoot out bullet like things in all directions when a bee touches them. If the bullets hit the right bricks, they will give you goodies. Here is the list: Apple gives you 50 points; Stick, 30 points; Heart, 1 extra life; Melon, 10 points; Diamond, 10 points; Yellow Moon, kill all enemies; Orange, gives you invincibility.

Be aware, when you start a level, there might be enemies very near by. So get ready to move.
